Hybrid toilet system
This could help people in need around the world

The Hybrid Toilet System TM was developed in the 1990s by Queens land scientist Paul Turner and Mark Langford. They had seen how flush toilets built for remote Aboriginal communities soon became useless through lack of water. The scientists worked with several organizations to develop a toilet that needed no flushing.
The Hybrid system is a mixture of a pit toilet and a septic-tank toilet. The tank breaks down waste until it is pure then let it soak away in a bed of gravel. a solar powered fan blows away odours, so flies wont be attracted. The system can cope with extra use without over flowing and flood water or pests cannot get in.
