The Notepad Proved Very Useful And Is Used Throughout World
Before note pads, paper was sold in single sheets. Around 1902, Mr J A Birchall came up with the idea of small sheets of paper plus a cardboard back. gummed along the one end to make a pad. Birchall sold his Silvercity Writing Tablets in his Launceston stationary shop and within a few years the notepad idea had spread around the world.
