<p style="text-align: left;">Garden compost is made up of a mixture of vegetables fruits foliage and other organic material. It is dug up into the soil to fertilizes it. Compost also attracts worms and they help plants grow.</p>
<p>For many years compost source was a compost heap. the compost heap would had a bad odor and attracts flies. Also the compost heap took long to break down.</p>
<p>In 1973 a Perth inventor Peter Whiteside invented the Compostumbler <sup>TM</sup>. The Compost Stumbler was a drum that had a lid to put the organic material. The drum would be turned 5 times once a day for 2 weeks for the compost to be ready to be spread along the garden bed. by 1977 Whiteside had been selling the Compostumbler 600 sales a week.</p>
